Pros

Its great to be surrounded with art and antiques, and you will learn a lot. Attending the auctions is exciting.

Cons

Few opportunities for advancement, low pay, and if you go to an exempt position you can expect really long hours. Company does not like to hire new people, so all areas are usually understaffed and work is dumped on the unlucky few.
