Gradual decline

Pros

- Amazingly smart, friendly and competent people - Free food and exercise classes - Good exposure early on and responsibility (can sometimes be a bad thing, though) - HR are approachable - Good culture of feedback and reviewing progress.

Cons

During my time there, I gradually witnessed a large number of management leave, with no one replacing them. Instead, others were left to fill the void, often without training. AMs are pushed into AD positions when they are not yet qualified or experienced enough, leading to chaotic/non-existent management (hardly surprising). While the salaries might be market-rate (as they claim), they in no way represent the amount of responsibility or client budgets you are responsible for. If you want to attract and keep smart people, this needs to be addressed urgently. I was frequently over-worked, and the only solution to this was new grads. While they are usually great, it takes more of your (already stretched) time to train them up and get them to a point where they're autonomous enough to help with the workload. They desperately needed experienced hires to help with this common issue! New Biz were not held accountable for promises they made during the pitch process. They frequently pitched unattainable or non-existent things which the account teams were left to deal with after on-boarding. It's easy for them to sell the world when they are not accountable for delivery.

Pros

- you have a job

Cons

- toxic environment, don't listen to the "culture codes" nonsense - you are stretched thinly to the point of no return - company is running an outsourcing programme in Argentina for cheap labour. Avoid going there. - Hard to level up when you are constantly doing the same things as they don't put enough people on an account. - you will be a cog here for a very long time until they feel sorry for you - my best advise is to run away and run fast

Growth got the better of them

Pros

Some really great people - your team are what make it! Lots of flexibility and great free lunches

Cons

Grown too quickly and lost so many parts of the great culture - slowly becoming more and more toxic due to a select few members of leadership. Blame culture and continuous false promises for development. Voiced concerned are always ignored and nepotism is high.
