Pros

Well-known with an excellent reputation allows for great opportunities and client projects. Recently acquired by a larger company seems to have opened up even more opportunities. Great culture and team work that allows for an excellent learning environment. Has a family feel despite being 100+ employee strong. Lots of resources for continuous learning and training. Management very transparent and lots of company and team outings to stay connected.

Cons

As company grows more opportunities are occurring outside of Texas. Amazing how far reaching the company's reputation travels. Not always in control on what projects will be assigned although management does its best to make it work for both consultant and company. More days time off would be nice.

Lack of Leadership / toxic culture

Pros

Clients have been pretty great. The learning experiences from client work keeps you growing.

Cons

Serious lack of leadership. No strategic vision/follow through. Technology team is slowly dwindling in a toxic culture. Heavy “leadership” roles with serious lack of consultants to do the work (very top heavy). Leadership out of touch with scoping and work required to do the job. Consultants underpaid, bonuses have slowly been reduced to almost nothing compared to work and value put in. No HR support. It’s just a sad state of affairs. No team work, no real “team” feel.

Unethical. Complete smoke screen facade

Pros

Somewhat flexible hours. You receive tacky gifts like bottle openers, beach towels, stickers and off brand Yeti cups as gifts several times a year.

Cons

Some of the directors cover more than one department, which they have no business doing. This leads to them to caring very little about certain people or positions because its not something they want to be doing. All around "boys club." Corporate mettings and gatherings you are REQUIRED to attend are a total waste of time. The information you typically receive is useless. Directors have too much power with little involvement from the higher ups. On the outside it looks like a well rounded company but truthfully, its unethical and outdated.
