Great coworkers, good product, good location.

Cons

Never have I worked at a company with worse management. The CEO micromanages to the point that many VP's have left BE over the last year. The ones that are left, want to leave. he needs to let the VP's do their job. The turnover rate is through the roof. The recruiters can't even keep up with backfill let alone grow. So many new people, everybody is on a learning curve. BrightEdge Needs a CEO who has some people skills, knows how to run a company (didn't just start it) and replace some of the VP's that aren't VP material. Sooner or later, the Board should figure this out and do something. Be wary of good reviews out here, those are NEW employees who don't know any better and are asked to leave the reviews. They have no choice but to leave those reviews. They'll figure out and regret their decision.

Pros

Location. At least there is a pretty view of the lake to look at from time to time. The Glassdoor ratings just shot from 3.2 to 3.7. in a span of 3 weeks. I wonder if things are really better or the talent acquisition team is just trying to clean up glassdoor to lure in unsuspecting job candidates.

Cons

Cofounders are polar opposites. One is engaging and respectful, the other is not. I'll let you figure out which one is which based on all the reviews. Micromanage much? False promises. High turnover.

Pros

BrightEdge has an incredible group of employees. I have formed such strong working relationships, friendships, and mentorships here that will last even beyond my time here. I have been given a lot of responsibility here and am still learning all the time. I won't consider leaving until I feel we have stopped progressing as a company or until I feel I have personally stopped learning. I also strongly believe in our technology as the best on the market.

Cons

I think there is still progress to be made in promoting a strong company culture and brand. We have been awesome at focusing on growth and winning as a company, but need to do even more to make sure our people are happy and supported and to promote a sense of unity.
