Pros
Most of the people you work with are very caring and look to have professional success while propelling the organization forward. If you're in an area with an office, the offices are generally nice and have snacks and drinks available. The product is a leader in the industry but comes at a high price.
Cons
Some roles have professional development opportunities but in a few spots there isn't much ability to propel your career forward. Outside of your compensation, there aren't many perks/benefits. Health coverage is great for a single person severely lacking if you have a family. There is no 401k match and work/life balance isn't really a thing. Most of the nice things you find at SaaS companies with extra days off (e.g. mental wellness days) don't exist.
