Pros

Union job, you aren’t forced to work here, arbitrators aren’t in the companies pocket like the H.R. dept is. I am no longer on Anti-depressants since I no longer work here.

Cons

No work life balance, first level and 2nd level managers can create hostile work environments where over 70% of the local work force quits or is fired in a 2 year period, and absolutely nothing is changed. Total flat out lies in the interview process once your an employee if what was said in the interview is now your word against there’s. Calls to H.R. (including head of the Human Resources Dept) would go unresolved and a copy and paste reply would be sent to anyone who would contact the H.R. dept about the hostile work environment.

Work life balance has dropped off a cliff recently. Constant senior management churn requiring pointless meetings and emails. This company feels they can utilize your free time better than you and your family can.
