Pros

Pros: - Quick hiring process - Use common tools- Zoom, GSuite, Workday - Small company, you can get to know people quickly - A good place to get experience then find something more reliable - Lots of fellow people from staffing firms

Cons

Layoff aside, the company has the attitude and feel of a start up (without being one)- changing titles, clambering department changes, misaligned leadership. Very few leaders to look up to. Little career progression.

Pros

- There are some very smart, diligent people at Bullhorn .

Cons

- This is a company for a very specific type of person. - It is the only firm for which I’ve ever worked where almost 50% of my Services team voluntarily quit on the same day. 3 out of 8 persons resigned, putting enormous, back-breaking stress on the rest of the services organization to avoid failure and seemingly inevitable fire-squad. - Middle management takes no accountability for shortcomings (just the opposite, hence the above...) - CEO is not a leader. CEO is not innovative. CEO is a stage prop for the Private Equity giant behind Bullhorn, which has cornered the market via multiple, PE-backed acquisitions in the last 5 years. - Beware of Bullhorn culture. Stay vigilant of Bullhorn’s "benevolent personalities". Especially beware of those with tenure and who seem nice and harmless. Their support goes only as far as your incentives are aligned. - Not a place for the ethical growth. Any employee with a real moral compass is sitting on a ticking time bomb. - This company is a high-yield bond. Join at your own risk. At minimum, be methodical. You may prefer a more ethically run business at lower salary like me.

I'm sorry to hear that you feel you had such a poor experience in your time at Bullhorn. There's alot in this review, and without more specific examples, it's hard to really figure out what happened here. We will be the first people to admit that we aren't perfect, that we listen, learn, and evolve along the way, but one thing we stand behind is our ethics. I really encourage any employee to come have a confidential chat with me, with our HRBPs, with our CEO, anyone on our leadership team if you see something that goes against our Code of Conduct or Core Values. If there is something going on, I can assure our employees that we will address it. I know you've moved on from the organization, but I'd welcome a chat if you wanted to reach out. - Kelley.morse@bullhorn.com, SVP, HR.

Pros

Coworkers are great, but that's pretty much it at this point.

Cons

All of Support sat through meetings today going over the result of the most recent "compensation study", in other words, the second time in 2 years leadership is admitting they're sitll not paying their employees enough. JR introduced a new pay structure for Tier 1 employees that sounds great on paper, I guess. But it also means that someone who's been with the company for a year is now making the same amount as someone whose been with the company for 2 or 3 years. Outside of Tier 1, nothing changed significantly. Again. They keep raising Tier 1 pay significantly and not raising any one else's. The difference between Tier 1 and basically any other job other than a senior enterprise rep is now about $3k-4k, when befor it had been 8-10k. It is a constant slap in the face to the entire rest of the support org for leaders to be gushing about how much they value everyone when its clear they only value butts in the seats. Behind the scenes work? Sucks to be you.

I am sorry to hear of your dissatisfaction with Bullhorn Support. It is obvious that our meeting on Friday missed the mark with you. We have a disconnect regarding the spirit and intent of our actions vs. how you perceive them. We have adjusted pay twice in two years because we are committed to paying at market and providing a world class working environment. So, we have done multiple market studies and made adjustments based on our findings. I would love the opportunity to spend some time with you to discuss this process as well as your job satisfaction. We do value you and want this to be the best employment experience of your career.
