Your colleagues will likely be intelligent people, that’s the only upside.

Cons

Terrible pay (in comparison to hourly rates from other tutoring companies) High turnaround, you probably won’t see the same colleagues after a few months No raise/career advancement No benefits, they want you to be an independent contractor so they don’t have to pay for medical/dental benefits Terrible fluctuating hours; at most this is a part time job to pay a couple of bills Manager at center will take you off the roster last minute, won’t even apologize Greedy amoral company, expects you to reach 3 kids at once to cut corners and save costs! No other tutoring company does this!

Cons

The company does not support the centers or the employees in gathering strong leads. If you are the Center Director, you have to promote the center by marketing during your off time.
