Pros
The culture is truly created by the people. Very hardworking (albeit naive) individuals with a lot of passion and drive. I learned a lot about myself as an individual and who I wanted to be as a professional working for Carvana. It truly taught me the value of self-worth and how to #stayscrappy and go for what you think is it right. If you have a great resume and work history and expect that to do all the work for you to get ahead, this isn't the company for you. Internal opportunities are great though, you can move into positions you generally wouldn't be qualified for outside of the company. If you are wanting to try a new department, it's generally pretty easy to do so. Their attendance policy is insane and takes years of research (sarcasm) to figure out. With that though, it is very easy to navigate around and it's so hard to get fired for attendance issues.
Cons
-doesn't value previous experience -competitive but very much kept in the undercurrent -obviously company doesn't make great financial decision a la Carvana layoffs '22. -Their values are fantastic for character development but corporate culture does NOT live by the values for its employees. -Youth-centric company, I feel like they do that so they can take advantage of the naivety of their employees.
