Pros

Team bonding, opportunities to visit other communities were the highlights of this position. Great networking with others in the same field. IT department was incredible in helping when needed as well.

Cons

Lack of support for the community as a whole from corporate higher ups. VPs/SVPs claim to care about each community, but there is clearly favoritism shown. Corporate promised many things and did not deliver on their promises to support a struggling community. As someone new to HOA it was extremely disheartening to have questions be met with frustration. If expectations were not being met in a particular area, instead of having an adult conversation, corporate employees would gossip with one another rather than resolving the issue. Training is extremely overwhelming and the full scope of work was not presented during interview process.

Some of the people there are lovely on a personal level.

Cons

This company is disorganized and there is little accountability for managers to do their job well. This is not the place to go if you want to work with corporate professionals or advance in any meaningful way.
