Pros

When working with CCRES, you immediately have opportunities to work with and provide services for the CCIU. Moreover, Loyalty and performance are recognized, in my opinion. For people looking to move up the ranks, there is room for advancement, but you have to put in the work Three and a half years ago, I started as a TSS/PCA, and have since become a BCBA specialist. As a BCBA/BSC, the job requires that you are organized, pro-active, and have strong communication skills. Over the last few years working with CCRES and the CCIU, I've had some wonderful opportunities and experiences that have made me stronger. I've found that the organization and the members of the CCIU that I work with do value my work. Case managers will expect a lot from you, compared to other agencies. However, I see this is an advantage over the competition because our clients are provided with a level of services that I really haven't seen anywhere else in this specific field.

Cons

To advance in this job, you need to put in the time to work in different settings and times of the day. I think it's more of the nature of the job that you may find yourself working early in the morning and later into the evening. As a TSS or PCA, paperwork is not that big of an issue. However, if you are looking to become a BSC, be prepared to spend a few extra hours a week in paperwork. It can be quite overwhelming for a newcomer.
