      CHEP is a really good company to work for

      Pros

      Competitive pay, benefits and bonus. Lots of opportunity to move up for those that work hard and stand out from the rest. Great amount of paid time off. Mostly surrounded by good people that are easy to work with.

      Cons

      Unwritten expectation to work long hours and holidays for those in the supply chain. Constantly changing direction and goals because leadership is so concerned about how to save that last dollar in the budget. The political atmosphere is discouraging at times. Some get to skate by doing the bare minimum because of their popularity with leadership. Always trying to find some grand idea that's going to change the company but usually falls flat.

      -Fast paced environment that can help you really learn how to manage quickly learning -Legitimately empowered to drive positive change -Pay and benefits are alright -Currently the company is working on implementing better training for Logistics, including a mentorship program -Reorganizing Logistics, providing an opportunity for more process ownership...we'll see

      Cons

      -Having full trust in the recent/current leadership -Huge company, so sometimes communication is lacking (especially when things are political) -Management tends to overreact and overcorrect on some problems (from a coordinator's perception) -The company is behind on some technologies, including real time data feeds -Managing work/life balance -Training -Change seems to not be well implemented/transitioned through
