      Incredibly Political and Culturally Awkward Environment

      Pros

      The company is doing well. There are some great people mixed in with the plentiful "bad eggs." The industry is interesting.

      Cons

      More cliques than my daughter's middle school. Progress is often hampered by political jockeying. There are silos all over the place. Cross-departmental communication is poor. There is a great deal of self-promotion and sucking up. The culture is one of distrust and frustration.
