Pros

Having worked for COPS Monitoring in several different positions for almost 5 years, I can honestly say this company cares. For you as an individual, there are a heap of benefits such as Vacation time, Earned Sick time, Frequent raises ( No cap on pay either! ), Quarterly paid trips for tenured employees, Half-price drinks and free coffee, Extravagant Holiday party, and Management's Open door policy. While I could go on, I want to also mention that COPS Monitoring and all of their employees do their best with growing your skills set, even if this is your first job or your 100th. As our CEO once said, "You don't have to go after the person in front of you to grow." Advancement opportunities become available quite frequently because of the constant state of growth we are in. The job itself is quite easy and you are seated for most of the day which is relaxing. Throughout your first 3 weeks, you will be with someone training, which is overseen by the Shift Managers. There is technical information you have to learn, but after the first week you’ll find your groove. If you are on the fence about applying for any reason, I would highly suggest you submit an application and simply ask the hiring agent any of your questions or concerns! Personally, I have never felt more motivated and supported by a company that I often find myself blurring the lines between “company” and “family”. Due to the culture, working environment, and countless other benefits, I have fully dedicated myself to this company and their message. If offered another job from a different company that paid twice as much, I would turn it down with no hesitation.

Cons

I don't really like my commute. This is just Nashville's terrible infrastructure at play though. Aside from that, I am 100% content!

Pros

I've had three jobs in the passed but none I liked more than Cops Monitoring so far. I worked at a different Call Center a few years ago (my first) and it was ok but I didnt like the vibe or supervisors. But I actually do like my managers at Cops and they go out of their way to talk to me and answer any random questions I have. Even the 2 office managers, they worked with me when I had somethings come up and needed schedule changes. The job gets easy once you get use to it. When you come in you clock in, find your seat and start handling calls. The day goes quick since the alarms are steady but its not stressful if that makes sense?? One of my favorite parts about the job are my coworkers. I didn't go in to this company expecting to make friends but the other dispatchers are funny and nice and make it a good place to be. Other than that we get cool stuff sometime like last year for Xmas we got a big cooler with a bunch of snacks in it from the different states and it was nice. I also like the vending machines and all the stuff in them. Overall I really like it here.

Cons

traffic sometimes and I wish the parking lot was redone but theres tons of space
