      Some good people and benefits, and good chance for promotion.

      Pros

      If you are dedicated and reliable, you will move up quickly. Managers and Supervisors are all former dispatchers, so they know the business.

      Cons

      Low salary Benefits are nice if single, but insufficient if married with a kid Job is boring: non-stop alarm handling calls for 8 hours.

      Pros

      Being able to assist customers in emergency situations is rewarding. Majority of the coworkers have a close knit bond and work well together. Weekly pay checks, as well as bonuses and overtime available often.

      Cons

      Promotions given should be reviewed more thoroughly to ensure the most qualified are receiving the job.
