Pros

COTA is a dynamic work environment where something new is happening all the time. These new opportunities open doors to work on developing new products to serve the ever growing needs of healthcare from a data standpoint. In my first few months I have had the unique opportunity to work on a brand new product from start to finish on a multidisciplinary team. COTA enables creativity and productivity across all departments, allowing us to collaborate and accomplish each task. COTA supports a healthy work-life balance and provides amazing benefits to its employees.

Cons

Because it is a dynamic, exciting work environment, you need to be able to keep up. This is not so much a 'con' as it is an adjustment. However, in this type of environment it can be challenging to maintain effective communication if not managed correctly.

Pros

The actual mission addresses a real need in healthcare.

Cons

The tech doesn't work as advertised and the few "customers" are all on pilots or very short project contracts. Anyone talented enough to solve the tech problems has left or is actively looking to leave. Just look at LinkedIn to see how many people have left in the last few months and how many (white males) have been hired to C-suite or executive roles for such a small company. The leadership team is in it for their ego and money.
