      Pros

      My team had a very tight bond and I was paid well.

      Cons

      EVERYTHING else. I was not a "Yes Man" and refused to play the game so there was no chance to go any further than I was. This is not a company that favors innovation and thinking out of the box. Vision and Values was a joke. Tremendous favoritism. Incompetent middle, upper and senior level mgmt.

      Interesting work projects; lots of good people; good brand offers solid products and services; good employee benefits; diversity is valued

      Cons

      Number of project and "change" management folks has run amok. Too many cooks in the kitchen can dilute effectiveness of work streams.

      Pros

      Populated by tremendous, dedicated, driven people. People support one another and there is a growing sense that "teams work"--and that collaboration is critical to success. Good, clear strategy that allows everyone to see where they are going.

      Cons

      Unfortunately, people are only supportive of people within their division. Blame games spread from there. Much of the work force has an unfortunate sense of entitlement (is this a Bay Area thing?) that interferes with accountability and responsibility. This trait is observable at the highest management levels. Identity crisis is pervasive; AAA struggling with member services vs keeping productive lines of business. HR is obsessed with its ongoing reorg. IT distracted by internecine conflict.
