Pros

CSC was a great company to work for, many career opportunities along the way, open collaborative team environment, colleagues interested in the team and the companies success, many opportunities to develop staff and mentor more junior members of the staff.

Cons

Felt that the new management would revitalize the company and the companies commitment to service excellence creating new opportunities for the staff. After about a year I was disappointed with the leadership focus on continues cost reductions at any cost and not enough focus on business development.

It is work in your field so you gain experience and time in grade. You will learn how to work under pressure in adverse conditions.

Cons

At some consulting firms managements purpose is to market the employees expertise to clients who have a similar need. CSC's current management wants to turn everything into widgets, products for sale. They see employees as a cost not as a resource.

Cons

A large amount of coworkers lack english speaking skills The internal software is hilariously outdated Lack of career advancement and responsibility to younger employees Communication is almost non existent Training and management guidance is severely lacking
