It's no best reason. But seeing the donors come in& saving lives.

Cons

Management belittling you in front of Donors& your co works. And letting the The Senior Phlebotomist doing the same thing. Lazy workers& Lazy Management. Only comes to help when important are here to view. Then they go back in there cubby& gossip about some co workers. Very unproductive, unprofessional, center.

Everything!! They harass their employees and allow other coworkers to harrass you!! No one is phlebotomy certified, wont work with you on your hours if you have children.

You can move up very quickly in the company but...

Cons

...you don't get paid more to be crosstrained. You'll be utilized in 5 different areas doing 10 different jobs but getting paid for 1. Hire in new people and pay them more than the people who already work here and have years experience. Awful, expensive group healthcare. You used to get a 50 cent raise for every area you were crosstrained in and if you were a DT. Now you get nothing. Phlebs on their feet all day and get barked at if they sit for 2 seconds. Some donors are nice but most of them are entitled jerks who reek of BO and cat pee.
