Pros

Some of the staff work really hard and provide high quality patient care. Key word; some. These employees quickly burn out and the turnover of good staff is high.

Cons

On the other hand, other staff do not take this job seriously and provide poor care. Upper management cares only about making money. The corporate office is detached from the daily issues going on here and unrealistic standards are expected of staff, who are provided with a poor work environment. Recent changes in corporate staffing have made this all worse. I expect this company will fail miserably.

Low pay Management can be deceptive and has no idea how to effectively communicate to employees More work that one can possibly complete in an 8 hour shift A drain on staff that show up for work - constantly asking them to do double shifts

Able to work according to my schedule.

Cons

Worked for this company 8+ years. Started off good, upper management and my administrator at Cadia Silverside loved my ideas and I worked hard. Then they became hungry for money and better ratings so if you cared more about the patients than making money you were bullied and harassed. There was so much coverup. Corporate had turn over every year because of how they were treated and how vindictive people were to each other and that became their new culture.
