Pros

Good culture. Good people. Lots of paid volunteer time and PTO.

Cons

Salary not competitive for the industry. They offer minute biannual raises for branch consultants.

We know the secret sauce to our wholehearted, shoulder-to-shoulder service is our Canvas Family. Being known for our people means we invest in our CanFam’s growth, safety, wellness, and development by offering great benefits and a top-to-bottom understanding of the value of work-life balance. We understand compensation and pay are always changing. Throughout the past year, we’ve conducted numerous off-cycle compensation reviews and introduced a semiannual performance review process for our retail front line positions. We will continue to regularly review market compensation data and conduct reviews for our Canvas Family, as well as regularly seek feedback and new benefits options that positively impact our CanFam.

Pros

It was ok kind of job. I worked there for about 1.5 years. Benefits are good especially they give 2 percent discount to employee on mortgage which is awesome.

Cons

You don't need hard work to go up but you need a lot of buttering. They like to promote those people who has good relationship with there boss and sit and spend a lot of time in there cabin for gossiping instead of actual hardworking person.

Thank you for your feedback. At Canvas, offering competitive wages and outstanding benefits includes a generous 2% employee discount on home and auto loans. We’re glad to hear these were highlights of your time with us. Many employers, including Canvas, have had higher turnover rates because of the current labor market. We are very focused on seeking feedback from our Canvas Family to better understand how we can positively influence retention throughout the organization. We take pride in helping our CanFam learn and advance their careers. Feedback helps us improve, and we openly share opportunities for growth as well as celebrate areas that highlight our dedication to continuous improvement. Our promotional process includes competitive consideration to ensure we select the best individuals for open positions.
