Pros

not many at all. It's time for some honest reviews on here since the last several are obvious bogus and probably posted by upper management. See cons as Pros are few and far between

Cons

The fact Care is even a part of this companies name is a disgrace in itself. Trust me when I say this place is a complete disaster all the way from the top to the bottom. Worst place I have ever worked by a mile. Employees are treated horribly and the patients aren't far behind. Change is coming, new CEO, blah blah blah, all this place does is tell lies and mislead. If you enjoy having zero training, being micromanaged like a little baby and having supervisors that can't even answer simple questions, than this is the place for you. You will get a generous PTO package whichs consists of time you can never take off or use. If your idea of advancement is not having to work Sundays anymore or getting to move your desk you will be happy. The best employees have left long ago, all that remains are those in the inner circle and those who kiss up to upper management and continue to do a horrible job day in and day out. The only thing worse than working here would be being a patient, good luck, you're gonna need it!!!!

Pros

It almost pays the bills

Cons

Well, you will be brutally overworked for one thing. People are constantly being let go, traded to new teams, or quitting for greener pastures. The company is constantly redesigning everything from management, to the actual process, even the "team" you're on. The 'in' crowd gets first pick at things and you're forced to work late hours or lose your job. All they care about is production and it shows. You are just an employee ID that can be deactivated at any time. You want to go to school, they don't care. You need daycare for your late shift, they don't care. You're sick? Why stay home? Come to work and cough all over the rest of us so we get sick and cant take a day off because we're all micro-managed to death. 'OK, only one person out of their seats at once, children.' 'One funeral per employee per calendar year, folks' If you have a life outside of this place you can forget about it. Your shift comes before your family and everything else you love. Remember that. Upper management knows the company is doomed but are going to get as many people to stay as they possibly can until the day comes when they have to close the doors. SMS has already gone down the toilet... what's next? The bad news starts way at the top of the email chain while we sit at our keyboards and produce . In the meantime, they secretly decide who stays and goes depending on who coaches their kids ball games or who hangs out with them at the bar after work. Its all disorganized, sneaky and secretive. The squeaky wheel gets replaced. They will use you until you're completely disillusioned with the corporate world altogether. I thought i was going to make a difference and help people. All I do is help my manager and supervisors get ahead in life. I should have gone to Travelers or something. You're even better off working at the Burger King down the street where you still have sense of self when you clock out at night. If you want a rewarding career where the company values aren't just words, please don't stop here. You wont even remember who you are in 6 months... if you last that long.

Pros

Salary is above average, PTO is plentiful and work is not difficult.

Cons

BCBS of FL Team in Tampa has an unusual amount of turnover with their staff. Managers are rude and disrespectful and often use profanity and even threats of job security in attempt to "motivate" staff. There is very low moral between co-workers. It's sorry place to be employed. I have never worked in a less professional environment. It's a joke.
