Pros

Supportive coworkers, Friendly managers, Good training environment

Cons

Training went by way to fast. Some of the customers didn't even know why I was calling about or what the service was so it made it feel scamish. Some of the people I would call weren't even seniors and I still had to "sell" the appointment to them so that another con I can think of. Felt more like a sales job than anything which I didn't like. Calls were literally back to back and all you would do was leave voicemails most of the day which is easy but can be boring.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience as an Engagement Specialist. We appreciate your honest feedback and are glad to hear that you found support from your coworkers and managers, as well as a good training environment. We understand that the pace of training felt fast and that some of the calls presented challenges, especially when customers were unsure about the service or when the role felt more like sales. We recognize how these factors can impact your day-to-day experience, and we are actively working to improve our training processes and better prepare our team members for the variety of situations they encounter. We also hear your concerns about the nature of the calls and how the volume and content can feel repetitive or monotonous. Balancing productivity with meaningful engagement is important to us, and we continue to explore ways to make the work more engaging and rewarding. Thank you again for your feedback and for the work you do. We encourage you to share any additional suggestions with your manager or HR so we can continue to improve together.

Pros

work from home is the only thing

Cons

toxic work environment, managers target nurses to fire, no raises, management does not care about moral, if you aren't from the select group from Maine you will never be promoted, managers care about their status and not about nurses, low PTO accrual and if you have the PTO good luck getting the time approved, you have to wait until about 1 week prior to the vacation to see if it is even approved and if not they expect you to get coverage last minute but do not approve other nurses working over time to cover you so it never works. time is micro-managed , many nurses quit during training once they see what it is really like. do yourself a favor and save yourself anxiety and look elsewhere

Pros

The leadership was good, and the training was organize

Cons

15-minute break and a 30-minute lunch. The job was micromanaged and low-paying. We had to really pressure the customers, asking them twice to take advantage of the wellness assessment. I hated bothering people and realized that this job was not for me. The customers were very rude, and constantly calling them to push the assessment and meet metrics was stressful. The job stressed me out so much that it affected my health. I hated the job, so I quit, and I don’t regret it

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We're glad to hear you found the training organized and the leadership team supportive. That’s something we continually strive to provide for all employees. We also hear your concerns around compensation, break structure, and the nature of the work. The feedback regarding stress levels, metrics, and how they impact both our employees and the customer experience is valuable. We’re actively evaluating our scheduling practices, compensation models, and support tools to better align with the needs of our teams. We wish you the very best in your future endeavors and appreciate your time with us at Carenet.
