Pros

A wonderful balance of professional and personal time, and Carnegie Learning offers awesome growth opportunities and potential to experience awesome personal challenges. There is a ton of autonomy in the office, yet it's easy to get feedback and advice when needed which helps you grow as a professional.

Cons

Because of its size, it's possible to run into operational problems that don't occur in larger organizations. The technology of the product is incredible, but the office technology can sometimes become cumberson and difficult to navigate especially when trying to pull certain reports or look at specific data points. The people within the team though are consistantly trying to improve this issue and the operations department is very helpful when dealing with these challenges.

Pros

Non-management staff is hard working and fun to work with. Great products. Excellent staff of developers and top researchers in the field of cognitive science. Some teams allow telecommuting.

Cons

Long hours, no raises for several years, little to no opportunity for advancement, nepotism, hiring of inexperienced employees as managers and VPs, terrible communication, terrible at hiring replacements for employees that leave.
