Pros

The company's mission of helping children learn math is very rewarding. Co-workers are all dedicated to this goal, so there tends to be less politics than at most companies. Co-workers are very smart and dedicated, so it's a great team environment. Everyone pulls his weight equally.

Cons

Internal disagreements about pedagogy sometimes get in the way of getting the best learning technology in the hands of students as quickly as possible. It's often hard to reconcile the need to make a profit with the desire to educate students. Sales can fluctuate for reasons that are hard to understand, so it can be frustrating to see that getting in the way of the product getting into the hands of students who need it.
