Pros

The clients and most colleagues are awesome. Potential upward mobility for those wanting to stay in ABA

Cons

Absolutely no respect of your time. Like another review said, get ready to have your life become monopolized. The cancellation policy is straight horrible and doesn’t promote wellness. For example, if a client cancels an hour before your session, you are not paid. On top of that you are expected to sacrifice your day off to make up that session. Expect to be scheduled on every holiday (Christmas, Thanksgiving, you name it!) Insane turnover for behavior specialists because of low pay, little support, unsafe situations, and complete lack of respect for your time. Did I mention that there are a lot of work-related tasks that are unpaid? RUN

Pros

Mid Level Employees (Program Supervisors, Program Coordinators) are intelligent, dedicated and care about their families. The families CSD work with are wonderful and understanding people.

Cons

Where to begin - For the behavior specialists: If you want good training, on going support, grow as a clinician or want a steady paycheck.... DO NOT WORK HERE. The training is horrible, the Mid-Level supervisors are overworked and their caseloads are too large so do not expect too much support as they do not have enough time in the day. For Mid Level - They have recently changed most of the salaried positions to hourly and this, in turn is resulting in a pay cut and insecurity for people with masters level degrees. Half of the mid-level staff quit within a period of several weeks! Their motto, so they say is "We get it!" ...... They don't get anything but money and over work their staff to the point that everyone is burned out. They may promise you clinical hours towards to professional license, but good luck getting those hours as they are not hiring Clinical Directors who have the experience or ability to provide supervision hours.

Pros

The clinical staff are hardworking and tirelessly work to help the clients they are assigned. The clinical staff understand what the clients need and make them their priority.

Cons

This company is focused on their profit margin rather than ethical guidelines and quality services. The clinical staff is over-worked and constantly asking for assistance with smaller caseloads to provide quality services to their clients. The executive team claims to have listened to their suggestions and consider options, instead they move the Program Supervisor role to HOURLY! The executive team clearly does not care about their clinical team or their clients, but more their bottom line. There is no way with the calculations given to the Program Supervisors that they will make their same salaries they were receiving unless they work several hours overtime and do around 11-25 direct hours per month. This is absolutely ridiculous. Also, the company continues to accept assessments for new clients but cannot currently staff the clients they already have. They boast about have 1000 clients and are continuing to grow, but are they in fact helping the families they serve or do they see the families as $$$? Clinician are leaving every day due to workloads, so beware if you decide to join this team. There is no life/work balance. CSD's slogan is "we get it," the real question is do they get it? or do they even care?
