Beware of CSD, they do not in fact "Get it..."
Pros
-Promote employees internally - Has Multiple Regions -Have people with Good ideas
Cons
-Behavioral Specialist are treated terribly: Clinical team is often only joining for overlaps via telehealth, there is no in person overlapping happening. -Cancellation Policy: BS are expected to make up all sessions cancelled whether this be a client cancellation or a BS cancellation. When taking Time-Off be prepared to work double before and after returning in order to make-up hours. If you are sick be prepared for making up all sick time as well as being bombarded with texts by many admin roles to make up your hours as soon as possible. -Promises full time positions to Behavioral Specialists and then says it isn't in the budget -Behavioral Specialist retention is terrible, minimal training, BS's feel extremely alone and unsupported in the field. I have spoken with many previous and current employees all who would NOT recommend CSD as a place to work -Upper management is very concerned with money, this is an ABA company, where is the ethics here? Behavioral Specialists are thrown into the field with minimal training, supervisors are often only joining via telehealth. When asking supervisors for assistant they are often no where to be found. -TRUE values, Transparency, Respect, Understanding, Excellence.... Where? There is a lot of gossip, emotional manipulation and negative interactions happening here. For a bunch of people working in health care with degrees in psychology, MFT, LSW, etc. I would expect a better culture, this is not the case. -CSD continues to purchase other companies with better organization, yet seems to stick to bare minimum ways. Save yourself and apply elsewhere.
