Large, somewhat well-equipped facility, centrally located in Dallas area.

Cons

Terrible working conditions and unethical treatment practices where the norm is 2,3 person concurrent treatments EVERY hour and near daily mixed 5-6 person groups with inappropriate clients in each group just to make the schedule work. Not enough therapists, clinic aides treated as COTAs and treat/carry out treatment plans without any formal education most of time. Toxic management, chaotic communication platforms and process in place. Do not walk but run from this. Very high burnout rate for most OTs - usually within 1-1.5 years

Great exposure as a therapists to a variety of conditions/presentations. With high volume, comes lots of learning opportunity Opportunity to get patients out into the community. Because of the schedule it is very hard and you have to work extra to get patients out and keep up with outings but it is rewarding. Opportunity to lead unique therapy groups Enjoyed other therapy staff

Cons

So much was expected of me beyond what was communicated. I was over worked, and under payed. Management doesn’t listen, lots of corporate gas-lighting. Disconnected management and corporate body from treating professionals. I was put in ethically ambiguous situations
