Great minds in R&D. Opportunities to work on interesting cross collaborative projects.

Cons

Rapid uncontrolled growth over the pandemic has resulted in 3 rounds of large layoffs over the last few years. Rapid turnover in senior leadership leaves employees scared for their job security. Company has had recent bad press over their “Razor Blade Business Model” with critical, curable diseases— hardly in line with their company mission statement.

Pros

They overpay their people to compensate for the way they treat their employees. I also get to work with a really great team.

Cons

From the top down, the only thing leaders care about is metrics and measuring impact. I understand that those things matter, but they aren't the ONLY thing that matters. As a manager, any time I try to remind my peers and above that we are leading PEOPLE, and empathy matters, I just get blank stares. It's harsh. It's cold, It's unkind.

Decent pay and easy job.

Cons

The company is constantly falling apart. There's so much holes in its process I'm surprised it's still functioning. Nothing works like it's supposed to and it's an uphill battle to get anything fixed. Quality has been restructured poorly to the point it's affecting the products coming out. Poor leadership, no recognition, and high burnout rate.
