      I have worked with Chevron for 6+ years and have found it to be one of the greatest companies to work for: - Great benefits - Great compensation - Highly stimulating working environment - Career development opportunities, including cross-functional development opportunities - 9/80, work/life balance

      Pros

      Chevron is a great company to work for. I really enjoyed the people I worked with and they were all very supportive when help was needed. My supervisors always provided support and direction when needed. It was rarely a dull moment working here. Strong safety Culture!!

      Cons

      You do have to learn the Chevron way of doing things and expectations can be high sometimes. There is a lot to learn in a short amount of time. As it was describe to me when I first started: "It's like drinking water from a fire hose. It never slows down, you just learn how to drink from it." When oil prices are low, the industry sucks, hence why I am a former employee...
