Pros

Great upward mobility for mid-career level employees. It sounds odd, but the Company's heart is in the right place when it comes to energy extraction. The host nation benefits enormously monetarily and humanitarianly.

Cons

"Open Office" is miserable and stagnates productivity. Each office is not void of the usual politics.

Pros

Great benefits and the company goes out of its way to make sure its employees are safe. There is good work-life balance and you're encouraged to maintain both your physical and mental health.

Cons

As an employee of a very large oil and gas firm, you will be subject to the stigma of working for an 'evil industry'. Though there's not much action being taken on climate change (their products, after all do contribute to global warming), the company does a great job maintaining the local environments where they operate.
