      Pros

      Great coworkers, good benefits, decent salary

      Cons

      Leadership is running scared, talking about being over headcount and no one getting enough done. Everyone is expected to do the work of at least two people. When people leave, there is no replacement. Only a few leaders acknowledge the work of their staff; most take all the credit. Much more time is spent documenting activity and writing endless reports than actually accomplishing anything productive. Policy is that it's safe to make mistakes and "fail fast," but reality is failure is not tolerated. Leaders don't communicate well or develop talent. Opportunities to advance have dried up.

      Chewy is growing rapidly, meaning you will be working on new things frequently

      Cons

      I could forgive most things in the headline, as Chewy is modeling itself after similar tech companies. The most frustrating is that things are centrally managed with the effect that you need very high levels of buy in to do most routine items. Team leaders / vertical owners don't have any functional authority.

      Weekly Pay, Guaranteed 40 Hours, Overtime Opportunities, Good Benefits.

      Cons

      You being comfortable is Purely Politics. Your word has No Value versus a 2 Leads meeting or Managment that will coach you and insult you disguised it as feedback. It will always be Your Word Against Theirs. You Will Be Berated. Do Not Give Feedback, even if they ask for it, that will give them ammunition to adjust your words. They tell you in training to CYA "cover your own Acc" as Management Will cover for their leads and supervisors. A CSR has no weight. You Are Just A Number to HR. HR is a complete Joke and nasty. They curse at you when frustrated. They are allowed to show aggressive behavior if they were given a reason to coach you. Defending yourself will only make your experience as an employee that much more depressing. They will tell you they are a Business at the end of the day, you Do Not Matter.
