      Occasionally, there is free food.

      This is a cult-like company. You will be berated by customers, colleagues and supervision and then expected to brush it off all whilst smiling happily. There is absolutely no room for negativity, which sounds like a good thing at first, but negativity is purely based on perception and so much as a sigh could be grounds for a corrective action. There is heavy animosity between the only two call centers and it does not affect work in a positive way.

      Reasonable hours, a living wage, relatively simple work.

      Cons

      Have you heard the phrase "a few bad apples spoil the whole bunch?" Chewy promotes a culture that fosters bullying - in a culture of positivity, the victim always has to defend themselves while an aggressor gets nothing more than a slap on the wrist. Management doesn't look out for employee needs, and there's a high rate of burnout.

      Work/life balance is good. Nice office.

      Cons

      My experience at Chewy was a waste of time. Many employees aren't happy. This is a startup that was acquired and still experiencing growing pains. Leadership issues run rampant here. People are in leadership positions that shouldn't be. There's a lack of transparency of company goals. Key leadership members micromanage everyone.
