Thank you for your review. We do know that nursing can be stressful and as you note above our high pay reflects that acknowledgement. Regarding ownership expectation changes our core expectations are listed online as the 10 rules of Choice. These have not changed in the past five years. One core element of these "Rules of Choice" is always being friendly and respectful. If you feel that someone in our organization was friendly but did not treat you with dignity or respect please contact hr@choicetx.com with our "Build a Better Company Form". The CEO of our business reads ALL of these and takes resolutions very seriously. Note--Looking at your time frame of working with our company it is important to note that Medicare released new Conditions of Participation for 2018 in home health. You may have felt that these changes were related to ownership. Changes of company requirements of field nursing staff in the last six months of 2017 were in response to these new regulations from the federal government and the state and federal law for 2018. We hope that the training helps our nurses be successful with these new nationwide rules.

Pros

I worked for Choice for 5 years before I had to move to be closer to family. I really enjoyed it. They focus on programs that get patients better---they have great programs!! Unlike a lot of home health care agencies their focus is not on "how long can you keep them on" but on "how can we get them better and on to Wal-Mart/life". The other thing that I really enjoyed is that they really want positive people. The owner is a clinician and always uses the phrase "It is more fun to be happy". If people do not want to be respectful and positive they try and work with them on how best to do that.

Cons

If you are not much for positive attitudes and working with others you might not last long--- I guess thats a negative.
