Pros
I learned a tremendous amount there and that knowledge has served me well throughout my career. The hard work that I put in there greatly benefitted me as I found that time and time again, they were more likely to promote from within and give more responsibility to those who wanted it. One of the best things about the company though is: the harder you work, the greater your reward and I find them to be one of the most generous companies out there. I would still be working there if we didn’t have to move. Additional things that you don't tend to find in other companies were the generous bonuses and praise when you did a great job. Anniversary gifts. Early Fridays in the summers. ping-pong games and tournaments. Pizza Thursdays (yes, every Thursday the company would buy everyone lunch!). Paid parking. Numerous after work outings - there were boat cruises, baseball games, etc.
Cons
I really have nothing bad to say about the company. Could there be some improvements, yes. But every company has something to work on. Since I have to give an answer, I would have to say that there were a couple of people the company hired that just were not good fits. And because the company is small, it was hard not to have to listen to those people complain. Fortunately, the company eventually helped them move on.
