Pros

The training classes are very fun, especially if you are in a good class. Some of the managers are very nice, they are willing to help you through most and all situations. Credo days - Free food! Doesn't happen often though... Being honest, the sales numbers are easy to hit. Job security like no other. Paid expenses New employees are eased in very easy.

Cons

Currently, the company is working on a system of next level micromanagement, where all of the time that someone works during the day will be scheduled for you. (Not a fan). Being honest, it is very hard to get a good payout. Checking accounts can sometimes be hard to come by, and you are expected to go far to get them. This job is 85% teller, 15% banker but 100% sales. (which isn't the worst, but 100% sales) Cold calling is probably the worst. Cold talking is pretty bad as well, with the onset of Aisle time. (People want to buy groceries, not open accounts while they are in the supermarket.

Pros

401k, PTO, Holidays Off, you get a free checking and savings account.

Cons

They have cut job titles and combined us into Personal Universal Bankers. 5% pay raise for internal hiring (but will hire from outside at a much higher pay raise ) , NO LUNCHES, having us do more work with no fair compensation. Poor Training. Management is useless everyone is somehow connected to the next person so HR is useless as well. Staffing is a HUGE problem because everyone is quitting or management is finding the most minute reasoning to fire you. Everyone knows everyone in this bank. Be careful when applying.

Pros

If I didn't have great co workers like the tellers and other bankers it would be so much worse than it already is. The investment side is wonderful to work for. They have great training and the management is easy to talk to on that side. They actually listen to their employees.

Cons

If you like being micromanaged this is the place for you. Management is terrible. There is no more customer service. It's all about how many phone calls are made and appointments made. Every minute of the day is scheduled for you. It's really taken a turn for the worse. The pay is terrible. Lowest in the industry. No raises. Taking commission away. Always under staffed. Business units aren't aligned to succeed. They basically are in competition with each other so they make their ridiculous goals.
