Pros

The people! Most of them anyway. Especially the FrontEnd Developers

Cons

The culture they portray is just a facade to get you to stay at the company, but in reality, a lot of people are there to get ahead and don't care to put you under the bus. The front end work is boring and I would describe it as the data entry job for developers. They lay you off for budget cuts (even though they are spending who knows how much on renovation to make the building look cooler and more "millennial", or sending their most prized employees to Hawaii or the best employee to where ever they damn well please for a week, or a team to Disneyland because they did "good work". Don't worry though, a FronEnd developer won't ever get that opportunity.) I put two stars because I love a lot of the people there.

Pros

Met great people there that have turned into long term connections. Good experience to move into another job and field. Sales coach was great, cared about each person on his team. potential to make good money, and good incentives are provided.

Cons

If you would have asked me 6 months ago there would be 5 stars as a rating. The thing that made Clearlink so great was the autonomy, to be allowed to sell with your own style was really attractive, and in essence as long as there was no fraudulent behavior you could get all your commissions and more. Then the sales process became more and more robotic and bland, making it almost impossible to have a personal touch. All these verbatim statements make it much more difficult to build true rapport with customers. Couple that with calls that had been taken away from the brand a couple months ago, 70% of the calls were people trying to get ahold of customer service or just pricing, making the incentive to stay there small. I had a few promises made to me that were never fulfilled and some departments within the company are completely clueless and unwilling to help. As mentioned above, i had an amazing experience with my sales coach, but that’s not always the case with other coaches. You are coached to give the customer iffy information to get that sale and then every week or so they change something on QA and then hit you with an infraction that affects your pay. And when that faulty information gets you a write up, the informer gets off free. Coaches were forced to be more hands on and to hover around their team from the out of touch upper management who claims that “nothing could ever be wrong with the calls, it’s you not trying hard enough.” Blame is always passed down to the reps and with the low volume of serviceable calls, expectations were relatively astronomical. Morale has been down greatly on the brand I sold for, and an eye popping amount of veteran agents have either quit or been fired for the most minor infraction.

Pros

they work with your schedule

Cons

I've been working there now for almost a year. I work out of there Scottsdale office. It is very disorganized and unprofessional work environment. The only way to move up is if your buddies with the so-called leader in the Scottsdale sight. They have ridiculous call flow policies that you have to follow or they take away from your commission. The more calls you take the more it hits you on your commission. Nobody lasts there more than a few months. The Scottsdale center has been opened now for over a year and the turn over rate is through the roof. I would say out of the 200 or so employees that they have at least 70% have been only there for 3 months or less. I use to read these reviews and think that they were from disgruntled employees that were just but hurt and while some our I can honestly say that my testimony here is accurate.
