Pros

Some nice employees as there are anywhere. That's about it.

Cons

Cold, creepy environment. People in charge have cold, flat eyes. Strong favoritism and bullying. You are at the mercy of weird, insecure, control-freak egos of some of the people in charge. This is a "clock-watcher" kind of place where every day feels like a day in prison. One of the bosses actually said: "The creative process isn't sitting around thinking things up; the creative process is stealing other people's ideas." If you are a creative person, that should tell you something. if you aren't a creative person, you may find a way of surviving by pretending you're living with an abusive family.

Pros

Great people, very good appointment setters. Excellent installers!

Cons

Too few people trying to do too much. Little things fall between the cracks. Very hard to make money here as a sales person. Turnover is high.

Pros

I liked most of the people I worked with. Machines were new or somewhat new. Nice offices and plenty of sq. footage.

Cons

Owner doesn't know what he is doing. Making promises to customers that can't possibly be met. Giving the farm away. Letting a designer that has lost several businesses of his own run the company.... No training for any of the employees, unless you are a designer. Designers sell things that the shop has never seen, heard of, or even knows how to build. However, things are supposed to run smoothly. Installers are hired right off the street with no training. Sent into peoples homes with little or no supervision.

Closet Factory Response

This ex-employee did not stay long enough to see the vast improvements in the company. We finally caught up with our overdue orders. Clients are making positive comments on the internet. July sales were very good; August sales were outstanding. We have honored all warranty claims, even some from 2001. The designer he criticized is doing an outstanding job running operations and is scheduled to go back to design soon. The factory has never been better organized. We hired two new experienced installers, and they are being trained in our methods for the next 45 days. We are gearing up for our busy season which starts next month. We wish only the best for this ex-employee; he made significant contributions while he was with us.
