Pros

A very competitive workplace that is very much immersed with upbeat, positive people. As far as dealerships go, it is one the better places to work due to company philosophies and new-age contemporary outlook. They take great lengths to not be your average dealership, and have a solid vision to provide experiences to clients that are actually enjoyable, and does not come down to price fixation or alienation of clients. One of the only dealerships I would truly trust to purchase a car from. Extremely welcoming to clients of all backgrounds, and it's refreshing to stand behind this. Sometimes they lose sight of livelihood, but often return back to it. All employees are extensively trained and shown multiple facets with the business. Interstore relationships are strong- it's really a casual and flexible environment. Cochran is very different from other dealers because they are willing to go where other dealerships don't go. They are creative, and always looking for the next competitive edge. It's quite easy to see why Cochran has grown so much in the last decade. All of these underlying ideas and great experiences with coworkers are the only thing keeping this review a neutral one, rather than disatisfied.

Cons

-Industry leading poor sales pay -Long workdays that often have no traffic -Lack of traffic due to either marketing or not having systems set up for garnering interest that other dealership groups have -Lack of incentives -High benefit costs for being such a big organization -Often have to pitch in with doing other people's jobs, Cochran has pioneered the "flex" position ideaology by not valuing talent and thinking that other people can fill their role, or another person can assume their duties -Lack of gratitude towards employees -Poor execution of company vision at entry levels -Mediocre interfaces -Not true room for growth, just continuous re-shuffling -Lack of visitation and no willingness to hear feedback by upper management -Fantastic at dropping the ball with various opportunities by being galacially-slow at decision making -Poor vision and lack of communicating it to employees - Recently, a very hands-off Mr. Cochran
