Pros

Collette is a great company with a long history - this brings with it a history of different sales styles and management styles. Over the past 2 years Collette has been making strides to rid themselves of bad habits and become is progressive and modern company. There are so many bogus reviews on here talking about micromanagement and impossible goals - those are from a time long past and likely from people who got caught slacking off. - Great travel opportunities - Great freedom to manage territory how you want to - Good benefits - Management all used to have the sales job and have a great understanding of responsibilities - Great company culture - Easy product to sell and believe in - don't have to lie to customers and you can feel proud to sell a high quality product

Cons

- Growing pains as they transition from an outdated sales model to a new more progressive model - Starting salary is a bit low, but potential pay is amazing if you are good.

Pros

• Great workl/ife balance • Thoughtful and engaging managers • Decent pay • Yearly bonuses and raises Collette has been very flexible and nice with me. Allowed me to switch part-time and full-time when needed. The pay is pretty decent compared to my previous jobs. The company as a whole is very well run and there is always someone there to help you whenever you feel lost. There's a genuine sense of comradery and guidance.

Cons

• Outdated tools and utiliity • Lack of communication between departments There is a heavy learning curve when it comes to using the proprietary company tools for reservations and phone calls. There are clunky and technical issues affecting the efficiency of the systems used. Most of training has to do with learning ways to work around these clunky issues. If these systems were updated, and automated , it would make everyone's job a lot easier. There is also a lack of communication between departments at times. leading to delays to resolve issues on certain reservations.
