Pros

Robust Training. Mentors. Encouragement. Great Pay potential. Lunches. Realistic KPIs. You get out what you put in. Patient coworkers.

Cons

Systems could be updated. A bit of the "not my job" attitude from some. Lots of channels to get action.

Thank you for recognizing the outstanding opportunities in Sales for our Account Managers. As you indicated, we provide a supportive environment that will help your success. We do recognize the need to upgrade our systems and now that we are part of PC Connection, Inc. we will be doing some joint systems review to see what the best approach will be for both companies in the short term and in the long term to offer better tools for us to enable success.

Pros

Good training Office environment reasonable growth path competitive pay and benefits

Cons

Uses personality and other assessments which are highly discriminatory and rule out very qualified and hardworking candidates.Company hides behind supposed 'experts' that peddle these biased testing regimes. The fact that the company would prevent a good worker from coming on board shows their lack of humanity. I for one am telling everyone what a horrible management mentality this company has.

Thank you for pointing out the many positives in your review, such as good training, good growth path, and compensation. PC Connection does not depend on the Sales Assessment as the sole determinant in its hiring process; in fact it is not even the most important determinant as you allude. A candidate’s work history and questions centered around the ability to do the job in question are also key components in the selection process. It is worth noting however, that the Sales Assessment has been validated as a tool to utilize in the hiring process and the assessment we use for sales is very common and utilized by many Fortune 1000 Companies.

Pros

Treated very well when starting out (bonuses, paid training, etc.). Constantly has different events, free food, giveaways, etc.

Cons

After a short time, your sales goals jump through the roof dramatically. Lots of cold calling as well.

Thank you for your feedback. We do offer our sales representatives excellent opportunities to be successful via training and variable compensation opportunities. Thank you for suggesting to have our more senior sales representatives help our newer people. We will let the President of our SMB sales division aware of your comment.
