Thank you for your positive comments on your ability to earn unlimited commission, and our positive work environment. The earning opportunities for an Inside Sales Account Manager exceed those of most companies in the greater Southern New Hampshire marketplace. We will certainly take into account your suggestion about ensuring patience with our new Account Managers, as we know it take time to establish your book of business, and our Sales Managers and Sales Coaches are there to help enable your success.

Pros

Co-workers were amazing! Funny, fun people. Great management! Vendors always took care of the sales people- helping them to get their hands on products to be able to sell with the knowledge of the quality

Cons

Competitive Sales teams, not enough growth opportunities (positions/ training)for non-sales employees in smaller offices, leading to employees feeling left behind and that they can't grow.

Thank you for your comments. We do believe we have a positive work environment at PC Connection, as you have indicated in your commentary. We understand the challenges of working in a smaller site and fewer opportunities for career growth, especially when we have such excellent retention. As a Fortune 1000 Company, there are many career opportunities within other family of companies and we have a successful track record of internal career advancement.

Pros

Great training. Great first sales job. Great being vendor agnostic, get as much out of this job as you can as far as the training goes.

Cons

Really low base pay... not flexible with working from remotely... even make you drive in during a snow blizzard...or take a vacation day. Career opportunities, are mission impossible...Hardly anyone gets promoted.

Thank you for your feedback. We’ve made recent changes to our overall compensation plan, and those changes have been received extremely well. We do thank you for your positive comments on our training program. Once an Account Manager reaches a certain volume they can earn the ability to work from home, but those not at goal or new to the Company need the on-site level of support to be successful. To promote one’s career goals, we also have a defined path for an Account Manager to become a Senior Account Manager to an Executive Account Manager, with corresponding increases in compensation. In addition, most of our Sales Coaches, Sales Managers, Sales Directors, and Vice Presidents have been promoted internally.
