Pros

Laid back sales organization. Very little micromanagement unless it's warranted.

Cons

Throughout my time there they kept raising the goals which lead to less commission at the end of the month. Very little training in the beginning.

Pros

It is a full time job. My position was paid decently. Although management is full of people who dont care about changing for the better or having any semblance of original thought, The employees beneath them are mostly hard chargers and fantastic employees.

Cons

Executive leadership has no idea what they are doing. They purchased multiple companies and cannot figure out how to merge them after wasting nearly $1 Million dollars on an INTERNAL event, they havent met goals for at least 2 straight quarters, so they started cutting benefits and employees. They say it is a "Software company" but all they care about is sales. The Content members are paid absolute garbage. Their IT department is EXTREMELY undermanned and they put a new CTO in charge who slashed over 15 IT positions from support to Admins and Engineers within his first month because he would rather outsource everything to EPAM and cut peoples lively hood to make the company seem viable. Everyone fears for their jobs constantly and are searching for new opportunities. The company is not reaching goals set by Roper (Parent company) and instead of actually developing a competitive product, they cut engineers developing the product and force money into sales at the same time competing against themselves (Bidclerk, Isqft, CMD, CDC, Planswift Ect.) they have already restructured their HR, Marketing, IT, and Executive staff. They have 40 "Vice Presidents" of things that dont matter and just look good on executive resumes. Instead of cutting the crazy amount of salary in the executive team, they just cut people who actually do the work and then make everyone remaining wear multiple hats. Management does NOT listen to intelligent employees about changes that should be made out of fear that it will cost too much and the company will fire them for challenging or having new ideas. There is a monthly "Simulcast" that is full of "Look at me, I am the CEO". Instead of giving company numbers they beat around the bush and wont give any factual evidence of growth while at the same time downsizing the company and outsourcing positions. They preach "work home balance" and yet keep most of their staff working weekends and late nights. There are a large percent of people who work 12 hours a day plus weekends. They are so scared to interrupt business that they dont allow IT staff to make ANY changes during the workweek and force them to work on weekends out of fear that something that would have literally ZERO downtime could slow business. They are so sales focused that even a simple computer restart is the end of the world. They refuse to invest in anything technical or that would bump them ahead of competition and something as simple as redundancy is what will be the downfall of this company. They rely on too many different softwares that do the same job and refuse to consolidate to a single one because the people using it refuse to learn new products. This only costs them thousands and thousands of dollars a month. The company overall could be a place of great innovation and are in a position to either be great or completely fail due to the lack of respect for their employees. I say it would be the ladder. I do not recommend this company at all for people who want to dedicate more than a few months of time at a company. all this said, I enjoyed most of the people i worked with or around as they werent the problem.
