Pros

It is a paycheck, sometimes. They have benefits but don't know how they work. Some people used to be nice.

Cons

IT is on call 24/7 and even rotation is a joke due to silos of responsibilities. They are currently looking to fire anyone they can and the skilled people have left or are looking to leave. Absolutely no training opportunities. Management will punish you for fixing a problem it the solution wasn't their idea. They haven't made their sales numbers and have gone off in directions that just don't make good sense, like only developing a mobile app for IOS but not Android. The offshore development to Epam who doesn't know the business so employees pay the price of trying to teach and manage them. Managers are poor or worse. They have even stopped critical systems upgrades due to budget problems.

Pros

good benefits begin day one plus 401k casual dress they like to reward you with food like a free lunch nice office location if you like sitting in a cubicle Rookwood is a good location for easy access for restaurants and stores and walking at lunch they have a gym in the building you can pay to join

Cons

In my 5 months there they had so many changes, they kept moving me to different cubicles I was on my third and to be moved to my fourth desk when I left. The job requires that you make phone calls to the unqualified leads that have been worked by numerous reps in the past, the software you are selling is expensive and many cant afford it and dont feel that they need it. many construction decision makers are not computer savy and dont want software the base pay is 30 or 35 and the commission is minimal at best, most of the employees on the business development and sales team are young males and they are constantly calling the prospects old guys and I took offense to that as I am older too, every day someone gives there notice to leave and they promoted some to senior BDR in January but told them they would not get a raise for doing the job until possbily July 2019 due to budget freeze, when sales arent where they want them they keep making changes to try to hit goal and all employees are suppose to get early release at 3pm on Fridays and the sales managers would use that perk as an option only if you the BDR hit your goal and that was not fair because all of the other employees got to leave and in meetings the President tauted that as a perk and amounted it to having multiple extra weeks of vacation when you add up all of the early release on Fridays. Very unfair for the sales guys to use it and dangle something that we were already entitled to as a carrot to achieve goals. Very dishonest and unfair. Females dont get far there its a good ole boys culture. HR doesnt listen to any complaints to make changes. They lie to you in the interview and once you get out of training you can see the truth
