Pros

Cool Product. Awesome Managers for GA and CO teams.

Cons

There is a clear advantage to being on the Cincinnati, OH or Vero, FL teams. They are hand fed lay downs of former customers wanting to sign up again. All account managers / renewals are located in the same locations so they aren't shared with other sales teams. Countless solid reps have left on their own or been let go while fresh college kids out of corporate get the extras that should be shared... There is no accountability from leadership to keep everything consistent and fair.

Pros

Early release on fridays at 3:30

Cons

Commission percentage changes each month. Quota can change mid month. Goals increase while the number of opportunities you are given decreases. They never hold any sales training at all.

Pros

Most employees care about our customers - the people who use our products and come to depend on them to run their businesses successfully. Houston office is very informal and employee-focused - designed to make everyone feel included and needed. Historically, a great place to work.

Cons

ConstructConnect is an integration of 8-9 smaller companies, each successful on their own and often competitors with each other. Now we are all being "forced" to forge new paths, which is a good thing, however, there seems to be a lot of politics involved with decision-making (which is true for any company). There is a lot of uncertainty for employees outside the main office (Cincinnati) who have devoted their careers to their company's and customers' success, only to be left out or left behind. The corporate office seems to be trying to force employees to be happy - that's not how it's done. Either the culture and environment is inclusive and welcoming or it is not. Corporate office seems somewhat "heavy handed" - instead of analyzing how the other companies do things, they dictate their policies and solutions - sometimes they are not the most efficient or best solutions. Company doesn't "believe in" peer evaluations or performance reviews. If you aren't living up to expectations, you are put on a Performance Improvement Plan - that's a definition of the opposite of good leadership.
