Pros

Competitive pay. Decent 401k. Not worth what you will have to deal with. Keep looking

Cons

A company which was once simply different has become incompetent in trying to be a player in the field.

Pros

It's a call center. There aren't many pros to this place aside from having your own desk which they let you decorate.

Cons

Poor management, too strict with attendance and zero consideration for employees, no room for growth. Examples of my experiences, I was in training and they changed our meeting place last minute. I was one minute late and was written up for that during TRAINING! This occurrence followed me for 90 days and was a constant discussion in my reviews. Another issue was with my supervisor. She had great things to tell me every week during my reviews regarding my work and assistance with matters outside of my department. She also emphasized on attendance, yet she was absent at least 3 times a month. We had some severe weather in the Portland, OR location and they told me to show up or I lose my job. How do they expect people to show up when the whole city is basically shut down due to weather issues? I did what I could to show up to work and was one of 15 employees to show up....my supervisor not included who told me it was mandatory to be at work. When I was "terminated" from this job, my supervisor complained about my lack of performance, poor work ethic, and so on. She never mentioned this to me during my reviews and refused to provide my stats to the agency I was hired through. Even her manager refused to work with the agency. Sketchy? Yes. Especially since I had just received (two days prior) recognition in the CSR department for my great call scores, great work ethic, etc.

Pros

The pay is decent to pretty good and schedule is consistent (same days every week) but the drawback is that the schedules are designed where you cannot have both Saturday and Sunday off, you're working one of those days or the other and this applies to supervisors and the people them.

Cons

Like most of not all call centers, there are metrics and stats you have to worry about while helping old people fix their phones (senior citizens and technology do not mix well). The level of stress is high right now (current year: 2022) because failing to make their numbers sing results in loss of job and it's getting worse everyday. Longer hold times results in these old farts getting more cranky than they were when they had to call in about whatever it was they couldn't figure out on their own, which results in higher stress due to the fact we have to balance performance with company metrics and requirements to pass the month and remain employed, higher stress then causes high turnover rates and people leaving or getting fired which in turn cause higher hold times for the remaining workers. The decent to pretty good pay checks come at a high cost of your mental health.
