Pros

I worked at Content Guru for just under a year within the New Business development team, eventually leaving my employment due to personal reasons. I have worked in many different environments in my time, and none stand out to me as much as the one at Content Guru. Without sounding too flamboyant, it truly is a fantastic place to work, the way management nurture new employees to really excel and boost their professional attributes is outstanding. They put a lot of trust into their staff and really do look after their own. The atmosphere within the company is always one of a constructive nature and the mass majority of the team were always happy to help share the load if needed. Content Guru have a unique way of finding an individual’s talents and utilising them for the benefit of the employee and company, this creates a truly unique and engaging place to work. Personally I am very grateful for all the support I was offered during my time there, and have left content guru singing nothing but their praises, I hope this review helps reflect the real quality of the company as its coming from a former employee.

Cons

The only real "Con" I can think of at Content Guru is the same negative issue that affects almost every company trading today... Certain individuals have traits that you wouldn't initially see during an interview or during their day to day time in the office, some of these individuals can have an rather arrogant, twisted sense of self-worth and believe they can write horrendous reviews on Glassdoor and get away with it, Individuals which in my option have the same intellect as someone that thinks the world is flat! You can see examples of these people by reading the odd negative comments below. Their views should not reflect the company, its employees or senior management in any way! If you find yourself doubting CG because of these malicious reviews please referee back to this post, and ask yourself one simple question… Is the world flat? I sincerely hope your answer to that was ‘no’ … therefor don’t believe this bigotry that has been posted online and speak to smart people that post smart reviews and speak the truth!

Pros

The work is leading edge in terms of the telecoms solutions it provides. From an engineering perspective this provides an opportunity to get involved on plenty of new technology. It's an exciting company that is growing fast. With the company expanding into other countries too, the opportunity to travel is another bonus (if you like that sort of thing). Content Guru certainly punch above their weight in the world of cloud communications. This isn't an accident and is down to the quality of the team who all work work well together. The offices are modern and pleasant to work in. It has its own gym and there's a pool table in the kitchen!

Cons

Content Guru is growing fast and the staff numbers need to increase at the same rate. The company offers important solutions to big high profile clients, so the pressure to deliver quality can be high. On the flip side, staff have more responsibility and will hopefully find it more rewarding

Pros

It is six years since I joined Content Guru. Before joining I had a good understanding of Content Guru’s technology, and it was the market potential for it that attracted me to join. The Cloud, SaaS and Contact Centre markets have really developed over the past six years and being involved with a company that is well positioned to exploit these markets presents an exciting future. The company is built on solid foundations; a strong customer base, cutting-edge technologies and profitable. Why am I enjoying building my career at Content Guru? Growth: Since I have joined the business there must have been 60 – 70 new positions created. It does feel that we are moving forward rapidly with a new HQ and offices opened in Netherlands, Germany and more to come! There is always a new challenge or opportunity and the role can be very demanding, however there is always something new to work on which ensures variety. People: There is a great mix of people within the business who are supportive and very committed to the business and the customer. Office: Good environment to work within and a great facility to showcase our services to customers. Culture: People do put the customer first and want to give them a great experience, I regularly see colleagues ‘going the extra mile’. There is a hard work culture and you are expected to be professional, and respond quickly, this culture works for me.

Cons

A lot is expected of the employees. With significant amounts of responsibility pass onto young shoulders. You need to be able to see this as an opportunity rather than a burden. It is clear that this does not work for all people, however most step up to the challenge.
