      Large stable company with decent benefits. Some quality co-workers

      Old school manufacturing mentality. Political. Silos, Fiefdoms, rigid hierarchy, etc. Lip service paid to employee engagement. Low pay scale.

      Growing company with many opportunities, but most opportunities are given to former colleagues of the manager from outside the company.

      Where you came from is more important than work performance.

      It's a struggle to go to work in a place that cares more about bottom dollar than the health and safety of employees.

      Pros

      The only 2 reasons I have not left is that its close to home and my childrens schools.

      Cons

      They believe in working "more with less". They don't care about our opinions on how to improve working conditions. It's thier way or no way. All they see is if we make a mistake. There is no compliments given on a job well done. Moral at this plant is very low.
