Decent salary ranges and HR knows how to throw a party

Cons

Unless you were employed during the Roche days, you are seen as unimportant. HR is ineffective in dealing with real workplace issues. I was told several times that I had to confront someone who had sexually harassed me instead of HR taking care of the issue. HR and department heads play favorites and if you're not one, your work life can be miserable.
