Pros

Great pay Lots of activities with in the company and employees

Cons

As a leasing agent you have a very Bad work-life balance, they say family comes first but someone decided to put a work schedule up until 8PM Monday thru Thursday plus every weekend so your looking to work Monday thru Sunday, I once asked well corporate and upper management leave at 5 latest 6 why make the leasing suffer we have families too, the answer I got was be thankful you got a job and well we work at home too, exactly you are home not stuck in an office with not much work to do and you have prospects and residents telling us how they feel bad and that is super wrong, ok Cortland you want to be different but over working the ones bringing in the money is not at all right, we are not a department store, we can different in many other ways, also they go too much of reviews, so beware because now if you have a move in that you worked up sooo hard and they moved in but let's say maintenance team dint punch correctly guess who's commission check is getting discounted on? Yes you the leasing, they want the residents to have a great move in experience yes we know but to get that you would need a great team over all to succeed,. I urge Steven Di Francis to have a meeting with all his leasing staff and get a feel of how we all really feel And find out what's really going on:\

Thank you for taking the time to write a review! We are so glad you find our compensation and employee engagement across the company to be Pros. As for the Cons, our EVP of Operations, Melanie French, read your review and provided some comments! She said that we made the decision to offer extended hours in order to better accommodate our residents during a time when they are at home. Offices are open three to four nights a week until 8:00 pm, and there are some offices that also open at earlier hours, depending upon customer needs. In addition, she said we fully support our associates finding the work-life blend that works best for their family and personal life. Community Managers have the responsibility of scheduling these hours. We offer both part-time and full-time positions, so associates are welcome to stagger work hours to meet everyone's needs. We also offer generous PTO time to full-time associates. Melanie would love to discuss your thoughts further over the phone. Please feel free to call her personally! She can also discuss with you how commissions work and the functionality of the Operations leadership teams. Further clarification and feedback from you would be helpful, so she can clearly relay your message to her teams. Thank you again for your honesty and taking the time to write a review!

Pros

It's a growing opportunity for anyone that want to grow professionally. I can see this been one of the top real estate company in the nation.

Cons

Construction is the biggest obstacle. It make very difficult on the resident as well employee to perform their job. Training is another area of improvement.

Thank you for your feedback! We striving to be the best of the best in multifamily, so we are glad to see you feel that momentum! Our Talent Development team is expanding to adapt to the growth of our organization. We now have a trainer solely for Construction, Rya Beilke! Feel free to send her feedback on how to improve the function of onsite construction so we can continue to elevate the resident and associate experience at communities.
